Transfer Drive

Depending on total backup file size and your Internet connection, initial offsite backup jobs can take days. To expedite your data transfer, FireVault ships you a Transfer Drive Kit. The package includes a USB external hard dive, software CD, and installation instructions for setting up and completing your initial encrypted backup transfer.

When finished, return the drive to FireVault via the postage-paid shipping container included with the package. Information on the transfer drive will be uploaded to our servers via direct import performed on-site at our data center. The Backup Transfer Drive step is not mandatory, but it will prevent the initial off-site backup from slowing down your office Internet connection.
